Be Respectful

Treat everyone with kindness and respect. We are a diverse community of providers and seekers from all backgrounds. Remember that behind every profile is a real person.

Use polite and professional language in all interactions
Be patient and understanding, especially with new users
Offer constructive feedback rather than harsh criticism
Celebrate diversity and welcome different perspectives

Privacy Matters

Protect your privacy and respect the privacy of others. Our platform is designed to facilitate connections without exposing sensitive personal information.

Do NOT ask for or share:

Home addresses or exact locations
Phone numbers (use our chat system instead)
Financial details or payment information
Government ID numbers or documents

Keep all communication on the platform until you have established trust.

No Spam

Do not misuse the platform for promotion, advertising, or spam. This includes:

Sending unsolicited promotional messages to other users
Creating multiple accounts to artificially boost visibility
Posting misleading or exaggerated service descriptions
Using automated bots or scripts on the platform
Posting irrelevant content or advertisements

Off-Platform Payments

We facilitate connections but are not involved in payments. Arrange those privately and safely.

SwissVillage is a free platform to connect service providers and seekers. We do not process payments or take commissions. When you agree to work together:

Discuss and agree on payment terms directly
Use secure payment methods you are comfortable with
Never send money without verifying the service provider
Keep records of your agreements and transactions

Reporting Issues

If you encounter violations of this code of conduct or experience harassment, please report it immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

Consequences

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in escalating consequences:

Warning

First-time or minor violations receive a warning from our moderation team.

Temporary Suspension

Repeated or serious violations result in temporary account suspension.

Permanent Ban

Severe or continued violations lead to permanent removal from the platform.
